Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital setting, requiring 5+ years of OR experience including transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases, along with Epic proficiency and a MA RN license.

Details

  • Position is in a large hospital Operating Room department
  • Handles a wide range of surgical services, with emphasis on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
  • Level 1 trauma center environment
  • Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Call is required approximately 3 times per month, covering shifts such as 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, 7:00 PM–11:00 PM, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, or a full 12-hour weekend call (Saturday or Sunday, 6:30 PM–6:30 AM)
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience required
  • Experience across multiple surgical services, with the ability to independently scrub/circulate transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases
  • Level 1 trauma center experience required
  • Large hospital setting experience required
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR required
  • Flu vaccine required prior to start (medical exemptions allowed)
  • COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility — travel, permanent, or per diem — must have a minimum 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility to be considered
