Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric PACU RN for a 13-week travel contract at a pediatric outpatient surgical center in Murfreesboro, TN, requiring a minimum of 2-3 years of PACU experience and prior PEDS OR experience.

Details

• Pediatric outpatient surgical center performing Urology, ENT, Orthopedic, General, Ophthalmology, and GI procedures, as well as sedated MRIs
• Patient population is pediatric surgical patients ranging from 6 months to young adults
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour days, 4 days per week, 32 hours/week)
• Specific days worked each week will vary; a block schedule cannot be accommodated
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Floating may be required to a Nashville pediatric facility during periods of low census at the Murfreesboro location

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2-3 years of PACU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric OR (PEDS OR) experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Complete COVID-19 vaccine series or a valid exemption is required prior to the start of the assignment
• Orientation is available on select dates at the start of the assignment
• Candidates will be interviewed by the unit manager prior to placement
