Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ICU position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is in an ICU department within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need and within scope of competency
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as executing delegated medical functions and monitoring treatment plans
• Health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals for further evaluation or treatment are part of the role
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
