Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) / Progressive Care Step-Down position in Maysville, KY, requiring at least 2 years of cardiac experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Progressive Care Step-Down unit in an acute care hospital setting
• General and cardiac patient population, adult and geriatric
• 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit (2nd floor)
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Floating required to Telemetry and Critical Care at times
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: MEDITECH MEDHOST

Requirements

• Active KY or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Experience removing post-cath sheaths/stents is a plus
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
