Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Complex Medicine (Med/Surg) position in Atlanta, GA, requiring at least 18 months of experience and strong acute care skills including trachs, drips, and PICC lines.

• Position is located in a Complex Medicine unit within a hospital setting in Atlanta, GA
• 12-hour AM shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• BLS required
• Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care, Heparin drips, Insulin drips, IV insertion, and PICC lines
• Strong clinical skills required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year; if returning to this specific facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not around a holiday, or 3 days if the requested time off falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted, and consecutive days off during the holiday period are generally not approved
