Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 733 staffed beds, operating as a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Interventional Radiology unit
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Call is required in addition to scheduled shifts
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to a sister campus
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Current ARRT registration required
- Active state or compact license required at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted (license required if applicable)
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Pre-start online modules are required (approximately 4–10 hours)
- RTO is subject to manager's discretion, with a general guideline of up to 4 days per contract
- Only one holiday can be approved per contract
- All shift callouts must be made up as determined by the department
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning
- Travelers are limited to one contract extension before being required to be away for a minimum of 6 months
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
