Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and an active CA license for a full-time day shift contract position.

Details

  • Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine unit in an acute care setting
  • 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine required
  • At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required
  • At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years
  • Active CA state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Must be able to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
  • At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year from a Nuclear Medicine unit required for consideration
  • A second professional reference within the past 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator accepted) required for consideration

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position — check with your recruiter for details
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • No RTO (time off) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; any RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
