Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of PCU experience and Epic EMR proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within an acute care ortho trauma hospital setting
• Patient population includes ortho/trauma and PCU-level patients with diagnoses such as SBO, fall, laceration, pneumonia, head injury, TBI, ileus, fistula, and fractures
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Epic EMR used; prior experience required
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Telemetry experience required
• Skills required include IV starts, patient monitoring, lab interpretation, medication administration, and patient education

• Unit functions as an acute care ortho trauma unit serving PCU-level patients
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• Any time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• No break between assignments is required when changing representation for this facility (excluding Sterile Processing Techs)
