Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and a minimum of 2 years of home care experience for a home health position in Massachusetts.

Details

• Home health / home care setting
• Provides direct speech therapy services to patients across the assigned caseload
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in the development of comprehensive patient care plans
• Requires travel to patient homes; a personal vehicle is mandatory for this role

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; Clinical Fellow candidates will be considered
• Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of SLP home care experience required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment including communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration
• Current SLP skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of profile upload; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved, and no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
