Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position at a heart hospital in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency on night shifts.

Details

• Work in the ICU of a specialized heart hospital
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:1-2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR is used on this unit

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — AHA-issued certifications only
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency with IV starts required
• Telemetry experience required
• Ventilator competency required

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Previous employees of this health system may change representation without a required break between assignments (except Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
