Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Rotating shift schedule (days/nights), primarily days, working weekdays and some weekends
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (7:00–19:00 or 19:30–7:30)
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• On-call is required
• Telemetry monitoring is a core component of this role
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity is required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• IV start proficiency required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• Rotating holiday coverage is expected
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments to change representation
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
