Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2+ years of experience with L/R heart catheterization, FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures.

Details

• 8-week contract at an acute care, Joint Commission accredited hospital in Maysville, KY
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit serving an adult patient population
• Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• On-call required every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend
• MacLab is the EHR system used in this unit
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency in left/right heart catheterization (L/R HC), FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures required
• MacLab experience preferred
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a rapid response position — candidates must be available to start within 7–10 days of offer acceptance, no exceptions
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
• Candidate's permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility
• Navy or royal blue scrubs required; open-toed footwear is not permitted
