Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring a minimum of 2-3 years of Level I Trauma experience, BSN, and a PA or compact RN license.

Details

Acute care hospital Operating Room setting with potential float to GI unit or Center One Surgery Center
Mixed schedule with both 8-hour (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) and 12-hour (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) shifts
Schedule follows a 6-week rotation that includes 2 weekend shifts (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing needs)
Holiday coverage required: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday worked, plus 1 summer and 1 winter holiday call
Charting system: Cerner
Liver and kidney transplant/surgical case experience involved

Requirements

Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
BSN required
Minimum 2-3 years of Level I Trauma OR experience required
Liver and kidney surgical experience required
Trauma certification required
Current BLS required
2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Copies of certifications required for consideration
Scrub and circulate experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
Scrubs dress code applies; scrub and circulate skills are a plus for this role
