Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
Weekday and some weekend shifts required
Rotating holiday coverage required
Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity level

Requirements

Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
IV insertion and telemetry monitoring skills required
Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
There is no required break between assignments when changing representation at this facility
