Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Stroke Unit (2S) night shift travel position in Crestview, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent med/surg RN experience and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with a stroke specialty focus (Unit 2S)
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required (must be active — pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Stroke unit experience required
• AHCA compliance required for all CHS Florida travelers
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required for consideration
• U.S. Social Security Number required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• NIHSS and stroke experience must be clearly documented in your profile
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
