Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) position in San Antonio, TX, requiring at least 1 year of recent ICU/NCCU experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital-based Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU)
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required for ICU RNs
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a neuro critical care or ICU setting
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
