Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a short-term acute care teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 332-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Patient population includes laboring patients with immediate fetal heart monitoring, obstetric, mother-baby/postpartum, and newborn nursery/transition cases
• Charting is done in Epic
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–06:15)
• Floating is required across all 3 affiliated hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition — within approximately 20 miles)
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Nursery/newborn transition experience required
• Immediate fetal heart monitoring experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• EFM certification preferred
• Obstetrics and mother-baby/postpartum experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
