Description

American Traveler is hiring an ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3+ years of interventional cath/EP experience and active MA licensure.

Details

• Work in a 2-room Cardiac Catheterization and EP lab at a hospital setting
• Adult patient population
• Procedures include PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations, lead revisions, and EP ablations
• Equipment includes Toshiba X-Ray and Canon imaging systems
• EMR: Epic (Cupid module) — experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Approximately 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block, including 3 full weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday); an on-site call room is available
• Potential to float to Interventional Radiology

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience required
• ARRT certification required
• Active MA Radiologic Technologist license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required
• Proficiency in interventional and cardiac scrubbing, PCI, and EP procedures (device implants, lead revisions, ablations)
• Epic (Cupid) EMR experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• EP responsibilities include scrubbing for device implants, lead revisions, and ablations
• All certifications must be AHA only
• Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• 2 references required for consideration
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
