Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long-Term Care position at a Critical Access Hospital in rural northeast Pennsylvania, requiring a PA or compact RN license and willingness to serve in a charge nurse capacity.

Details

• Long-term care unit within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) serving a rural region of northeast PA
• Skilled nursing facility setting with 58 beds
• Schedule requires flexibility across day and evening shifts (7a-3p and 3p-11p), 5x8-hour shifts, 37.5 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Charge nurse experience strongly preferred, as RNs are typically the sole RN on duty during evening shifts

Additional Information

• RNs are expected to take charge on evening shifts as they are typically the only RN on the unit during that time
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
