Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient, inpatient, and ARU setting in Brookings, OR and Northern California.

Details

• Outpatient PT services split between Brookings, OR and a California location, with additional inpatient and ARU coverage
• Weekend inpatient coverage required at the associated acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current PT license required; CA license required if applicable
• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
• Experience across outpatient, inpatient, and ARU settings preferred given the mixed assignment
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength
• Provides clinical supervision of PT assistants and aides, and may serve as a clinical instructor for students
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
