Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Oro Valley, AZ, covering acute, rehab, and skilled nursing units.
Details
- Day shift position, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (flexible start between 7:00–8:00 AM)
- 13-week travel contract
- Hospital-based Occupational Therapy department
- Coverage required across Skilled Nursing, Acute Care, and Rehabilitation units
- Cerner EMR — experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Occupational Therapy experience required
- Active AZ OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid Fingerprint Card required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs
- Participates in discharge planning and performance improvement initiatives
- All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- A valid driver's license is required for consideration
