Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a 13-week contract position in California.

Details

Mammography unit within an outpatient health center setting
Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures
5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Saturday
Variable start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with shifts ending between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
Current BLS certification (AHA)
CA CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license required
CA license required if applicable
2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
May orient other staff to the department as needed
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
