Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring a minimum of 5 years of dedicated PICU and cardiac experience.
Details
- 13-week contract position in a hospital PICU setting
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week
- Dedicated PICU role — no floating experience considered
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
- All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted
- Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
- Minimum 5 years of straight PICU experience required (non-floating)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as traveling candidates
- Candidates who have worked at this health system as a contingent worker for two cumulative years must take a minimum 90-day break before being eligible for a new assignment
