Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in Oakland, CA, requiring a minimum of 5 years of dedicated PICU and cardiac experience.

Details

• 13-week contract position in a hospital PICU setting
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Dedicated PICU role — no floating experience considered
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration — pending credentials are not accepted
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience required
• Minimum 5 years of straight PICU experience required (non-floating)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as traveling candidates
• Candidates who have worked at this health system as a contingent worker for two cumulative years must take a minimum 90-day break before being eligible for a new assignment
