Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 18 months to 2 years of experience, including Level 1 trauma and C-arm proficiency, for a 13-week travel contract at a large academic medical center in Indiana.
Details
- Large Level 1 trauma center with 30+ ORs, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed ER, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
- X-Ray department covering Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Chest/Thorax, ER, and OR settings
- Surgery/C-arm procedures included in scope of work
- GE and Siemens equipment used
- Cerner EMR — charting experience required
- 3x12-hour day shifts: Fridays 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturdays and Sundays 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility is required
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months to 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Proficiency in Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Chest/Thorax, ER, OR, and Surgery/C-arm procedures
- Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) and ARRT certification required
- Active Indiana or Compact state license required; license required if applicable
- Cerner EMR charting experience required
- Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this Allied position
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
