Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency in a hospital-based setting.

Details

• Primarily outpatient setting with occasional flex to inpatient
• Patient population includes general orthopedics, neurology, disability, and generalized weakness cases
• Caseload of approximately 10 visits per day
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Current PT license required (LA state license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with general orthopedics, neurology, disability, and generalized weakness required

Additional Information

• Maroon, wine, or burgundy scrubs required
• Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Upon accepting this assignment, you may be designated to an emergency response team and expected to remain at or return to the facility during an emergency event — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or during the interview process
• 13-week contract
