Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring prior travel experience, Cerner proficiency, and both cardiac and neuro experience.

Details

• Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Patient population includes neurological and cardiac cases requiring intensive care monitoring
• Floating required across ICU units as needed
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every third weekend rotation required
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required — no exceptions
• Neuro ICU and cardiac nursing experience both required
• Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must pass an EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher, including testing on lethal rhythms — passing is mandatory
• 8 stroke, 8 trauma, and 8 cardiac CEUs are required for this placement
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Any requested time off must be submitted prior to acceptance — RTO presented after submission will not be approved
