Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and current ACLS and NIH certifications.

Details

Inpatient Medical-Surgical unit (5S) in a hospital setting
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), including weekdays and weekends
Patient ratio of 1:5–7
EMR: Cerner
13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

Active WV or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
Travel nursing experience is not required
Two manager or charge nurse references (within the past year) required for consideration
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

Scrubs are not provided by the facility
The unit will make reasonable efforts to accommodate schedule requests, but blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Attendance is taken seriously — candidates should be aware that excessive call-offs during the contract are not tolerated
