Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Critical Access Hospital, working day shifts Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Details

• Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Outpatient OT unit with a variety of patient cases
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or holiday coverage required
• No floating to other units or departments
• Epic EMR used in this position
• 8-hour shifts
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Current, active OT license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of relevant OT experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• 2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years
• Active certifications required at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted

Additional Information

• Evaluate and treat a variety of outpatient cases
• Orientation to the department provided during the first week, with patient caseload beginning within the first few days
• Outpatient setting experience is preferred but not required
• Dress code is business casual or polo (colors: Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, or Chocolate Brown)
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their application date
• Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a bill rate adjustment
• All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility
