Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care Critical Access Hospital, working day shifts Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays.

Details

• Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Outpatient physical therapy department
• Evaluates and treats a variety of outpatient cases
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• No floating to other units or departments
• 8-hour shifts; 13-week contract
• Charting via Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Outpatient PT experience preferred but not required
• Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years in the specialty
• Active certifications required at time of consideration; no pending certifications accepted

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of a varied outpatient caseload
• One-week department orientation provided, with patient caseload beginning within the first few days
• All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility
• Dress code: polo (ceil blue, khaki, gray, or chocolate brown) or business casual attire
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
