Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology (IR) position requiring Neuro IR experience and critical care background, with on-call and weekend rotation responsibilities.

Details

Interventional Radiology (IR) setting; all cases completed in the lab
Neuro IR patient population
Day shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
40 hours per week
On-call rotation shared with core staff, approximately 1–2 call shifts per week
Weekend coverage handled through on-call rotation, approximately 1 weekend per month
1-hour response time required for on-call shifts
EMR: Epic
Facility-provided scrubs (maroon)

Requirements

Active VA or Compact RN license required
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Neuro IR experience required
Critical care experience required
Must be proficient with IV placement and management
Must be able to read and interpret ECG strips and lethal rhythms (ECG exam required)

Additional Information

Candidates must pass an ECG exam prior to placement
Unit orientation is approximately 1 week
Holiday coverage includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday
