Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Catheterization Technician with 2+ years of invasive cardiovascular technology experience for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital system
• Procedures include coronary stenting, PTCA, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid/iliac/renal angiograms, vascular and interventional radiology studies, and triple lumen catheter placement
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• On-call required; no weekend shifts
• Late stays may be required to complete cases if the lab is still running
• May float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent, full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be AHA-issued
• Active Michigan license required if applicable
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health or science field preferred
• Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
• EP experience preferred

Additional Information

• Assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures
• Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory management
• Online orientation modules must be completed onsite (typically one week prior to start) with a passing score
• COVID vaccination is mandatory
• No blocked scheduling
• All RTO requests should be submitted prior to assignment start; requests made after offer acceptance will be reviewed with management once the assignment begins
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
