Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Ortho/Neuro travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN, requiring 2 years of acute care experience and active IN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Located on the 6 West Ortho/Neuro unit of an inpatient hospital setting
• 34-bed unit serving a diverse patient population including stroke, seizures, MS exacerbation, hip fractures, post-surgical back surgeries, hip/knee replacements, craniectomy, and overflow med/surg patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4.5
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every third weekend required
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Equipment includes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Nova glucometers
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and neurological patients in an acute inpatient setting
• Navy blue scrubs required; nose rings and hoodies are not permitted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply
• 13-week contract
