Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Ortho/Neuro travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN, requiring 2 years of acute care experience and active IN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Located on the 6 West Ortho/Neuro unit of an inpatient hospital setting
- 34-bed unit serving a diverse patient population including stroke, seizures, MS exacerbation, hip fractures, post-surgical back surgeries, hip/knee replacements, craniectomy, and overflow med/surg patients
- Patient ratio of 1:4.5
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every third weekend required
- Floating required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Equipment includes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Nova glucometers
- Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience required
- US Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and neurological patients in an acute inpatient setting
- Navy blue scrubs required; nose rings and hoodies are not permitted
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply
- 13-week contract
