Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting in Colorado
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS as appropriate — must not expire prior to contract start date
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including ongoing health data collection, health teaching, and execution of delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients as needed, and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and unit-specific certifications are preferred
