Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a TN or compact license and at least 2 years of recent OR experience.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Rotating day and night shifts, scheduled as 3x12s (7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00)
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• On-call requirements to be discussed during the interview
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occasionally be required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN state license or compact (NLC-compliant) license required; no pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required for candidates with prior travel experience; minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required for candidates without prior travel experience
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• ADN or higher accepted for this position
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, as it will not be approved if not listed upfront
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work at least 1
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Vaccination status must be included with your profile
