Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency, with a mandatory EKG exam required during onboarding.

Details

• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required; holidays covered as needed
• Patient population is primarily Med/Surg, including observation, respiratory, general medical/surgical, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients
• Telemetry-capable unit with EKG monitoring responsibilities
• Epic EMR used; experience is mandatory
• Floating may be required across all facilities within the health system

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Valid driver's license required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed; study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
