Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position working nights with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency required.

Details

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required as needed, with travelers subject to float across all system facilities
• Unit is tele-capable with a primarily Med/Surg patient population
• Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general medical/surgical, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
