Description
American Traveler seeks an inpatient rehab Speech-Language Pathologist with TX licensure and at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift assignment with weekend coverage requirements.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
- SLP Inpatient Rehab unit with outpatient PT and ADL components; stroke rehab experience is beneficial
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with one weekend of coverage per month
- AmpCare experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
- Current TX SLP license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Inpatient rehab experience required; outpatient PT and stroke rehab experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Any requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO will not be approved after an offer is extended
- Candidates cannot take every holiday off
- Any call-outs must be communicated with more than 24 hours advance notice
- Solid color scrubs required with closed-toe shoes
- Free parking on site
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
