Description

American Traveler seeks an inpatient rehab Speech-Language Pathologist with TX licensure and at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift assignment with weekend coverage requirements.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
SLP Inpatient Rehab unit with outpatient PT and ADL components; stroke rehab experience is beneficial
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with one weekend of coverage per month
AmpCare experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required
Current TX SLP license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Inpatient rehab experience required; outpatient PT and stroke rehab experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted
Any requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO will not be approved after an offer is extended
Candidates cannot take every holiday off
Any call-outs must be communicated with more than 24 hours advance notice
Solid color scrubs required with closed-toe shoes
Free parking on site
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
