Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Infusion Unit position requiring oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- 60-bed/chair outpatient infusion unit within the Division of Hematology-Oncology
- Hematology-oncology patient population with complex infusion regimens
- Strong IV skills and experience with complex GI regimens required
- EMR: Epic (charting)
- 36-hour per week day/night rotating shift schedule
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
- Minimum 1+ year of outpatient nursing experience
- Minimum 1+ year of prior travel nursing experience
- Strong IV access and patient assessment skills
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation or public parking lots are available (daily rates approximately $17–$22)
- Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
