Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Infusion Unit position requiring oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

  • 60-bed/chair outpatient infusion unit within the Division of Hematology-Oncology
  • Hematology-oncology patient population with complex infusion regimens
  • Strong IV skills and experience with complex GI regimens required
  • EMR: Epic (charting)
  • 36-hour per week day/night rotating shift schedule
  • Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • BLS certification required (AHA only)
  • ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required
  • Minimum 2+ years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (AMC)
  • Minimum 1+ year of outpatient nursing experience
  • Minimum 1+ year of prior travel nursing experience
  • Strong IV access and patient assessment skills
  • 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
  • No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation or public parking lots are available (daily rates approximately $17–$22)
  • Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
