Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Rock Island, IL, requiring Epic EMR proficiency and some oncology experience.

Details

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours/week
• Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• May be asked to take charge or precept new hires

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; IA RN license also required (if IA license is not active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license must be provided during compliance)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown experience required
• Some oncology experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required
• Driver's license required
• Taxable address must be more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week and 1 day during the Christmas/New Year's holiday period
• Skills checklist must have been completed within 1 year of the application date
