Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Rock Island, IL, requiring ACLS, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Day shift position with a 6:45 AM start time
• 13-week contract in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Med-Surg setting
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR system used

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; IA RN license also required (may be pending at start but must be obtained)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines required
• Experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban required
• Driver's license required
• One supervisory reference required
• Skills checklist completed within the last year required
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
