Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Acute care hospital Emergency Department setting
• 30 private ER rooms including a 6-room ED Observation Unit (EDOU), 6 fast track beds staffed with a PA for minor/non-urgent cases, 1 seclusion room, and 5 additional monitored rooms
• Level III Trauma Center treating a broad patient population including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Average of 100 patients seen per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• 5 support techs on staff during peak hours
• 3x12-hour day shifts per week
• EMR: Allscripts Sunrise
• Medication system: Omnicell

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Emergency Department experience required

Additional Information

• Scrubs are not provided; any color scrubs are acceptable except all black
• Orientation is 8 hours
