Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position at an acute care facility in Kansas, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

Acute care hospital setting on a 23-bed Med/Surg Orthopedics unit
General medical/surgical and orthopedic surgery patient population
Standard patient ratio of 1:6, with occasional 1:7 possible
Float to Med/COVID unit may be required, with ratios of 1:3–1:4
Charting performed in Cerner EMR
12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Every other weekend or every third weekend required

Requirements

Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Travel nursing experience highly preferred
BSN not required
