Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a teaching, Level IV trauma facility in Arizona, with float requirements to a nearby freestanding ED.

Details

• Works in the Emergency Department of a short-term acute care hospital with 87 staffed beds
• May be asked to float to a freestanding Sedona ED location, approximately a 20-minute drive away
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7PM–7AM
• Every other weekend is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted AZ RN license or a valid compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 3 years of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Seasoned travelers are strongly preferred for this position

Additional Information

• Level IV trauma, teaching hospital environment
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including barcode medication administration (BCMA)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Blocked scheduling requests will be considered by the unit manager
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• RTO during the assignment requires unit manager approval
