Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, AHA certifications, and a TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Rotating weekends and rotating holidays required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7 (medical-surgical level acuity)

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the facility's service area to be eligible

• Orientation begins on Sundays via online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
