Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at an Alabama hospital, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an AL or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (Floor 6) in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Cerner EMR (experience preferred)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid US driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
