Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery Obstetrics position at a Montana medical center, requiring a current MT RN license and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Cares for laboring patients through delivery, operative deliveries, and postpartum education
• Responsibilities include fetal monitoring interpretation, cervical exams within scope, medication administration, and obstetric emergency response
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Montana (MT) RN license required — compact license accepted if MT-equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E

Additional Information

• Monitors maternal and fetal well-being, manages labor progression, and responds to obstetric emergencies
• Provides emotional support to patients and families throughout the birth experience
