Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of current MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification for a 13-week travel contract in Pittsfield, MA.

Details

• State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging department within a 298-bed academic teaching hospital
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Will always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech — never solo
• GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment used
• Meditech Expanse is the EMR (experience highly preferred)
• Weekend-heavy schedule: 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday (7:00 AM start), plus one 8-hour shift Monday–Friday for a 40-hour week
• On-call may be required; department is covered by call after midnight
• Holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active AHA BLS required
• GE equipment experience required
• Must be willing to work weekends and take call as needed
• Must have a personal vehicle
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable
• 1 supervisory-signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration
• MRI skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration
