Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Neonatal ICU for a 13-week night shift contract at a women's pavilion NICU caring for high-acuity neonates from 22 weeks gestation and beyond.
Details
- Works in a Neonatal ICU at a Women's Pavilion setting
- Cares for high-acuity neonates from 22 weeks gestation and greater
- Provides intensive care therapies including total body cooling, conventional ventilation up to High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation (HFOV), inhaled nitric oxide, vasopressor/sedation continuous IV drips, central line maintenance, and neonatal resuscitation
- Schedule is 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license — Georgia or Compact state license required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications (AHA-issued, must not be expired)
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken at least a 2-year break from the facility
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
