Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of CVICU experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Position is in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a large academic hospital in Cleveland, OH
• Day/night rotating shifts on a 3x12 schedule (7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Shifts may vary based on the operational needs of the unit
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand is required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) CVICU experience prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue the assignment
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning a new assignment at any location within this health system
