Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Inpatient Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Bullhead City, AZ, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active AZ OT license.

Details

• Inpatient Occupational Therapy setting at an acute care hospital
• Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule
• Weekend shifts required
• Caseload of approximately 6–8 patients per day
• EMR systems include ReDoc (outpatient) and MedHost (inpatient)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Arizona OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or higher required
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload with minimal supervision
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must remain valid through at least the first 30 days of the contract
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, implementing, and modifying age-appropriate treatment programs for inpatient populations
• Participates in discharge planning and performance improvement activities
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
